AnyRoad's Experience Scheduling allows full control of your calendar and experience availability via your Dashboard.
You can control two main aspects of your experience calendar:
- Available Dates: Set rules for dates and times when the experience is available for bookings.
- Blocked Dates: Set dates when the experience is not available for bookings, such as when the business is closed for holidays.
Once you click on the New Availability button, you can specify rules for dates and times when the experience is available for bookings.
You can schedule both Recurring and Non-Recurring dates by toggling the Recurring button.
When you are scheduling non-recurring dates you can create availability that overlaps with an existing setting by clicking on the make this rule override others link.
For instance, if your normal schedule includes experiences that start on Monday at 4:00 pm, you can now add additional availability at 9:00 am on Monday.
By selecting Overrides other rules the 9:00 am slot would be the only time available on Monday. By selecting Is applied along with other rules both the 9:00 am and 4:00 pm times would be available on Monday.
If you switch the Recurring toggle to Yes you will be able to provide additional details for your availability rules, such as the end date, the repeating occurrences, and the available time slots.
When you set a rule to Recurring you have the option to set an End Date, to stop it from repeating indefinitely.
NOTE: Even though you will see this rule on your calendar for 365 days in the future, guests will only be able to book as far in advance as you allow them to lookahead. You can modify this setting for your experience by specifying the timeframe during which this experience can be booked online.
To do so, go to the Experiences tab, click on the Edit link and then go to Advanced Settings. Click on Booking Preferences and specify your preferences under the Online Booking Window section. Then, make sure you click on Save.
You are also able to block your availability for any of your experiences by clicking on the Block Availability button. A pop-up window will open where you will be able to specify your preferences:
On this screen, you can select whether you would like to block only a specific date or set up a recurring rule for unavailable dates. You will also be able to leave a note (which is optional), in case you want to include additional details to this rule. Blocked dates will override all availability rules set. This will not affect any bookings that already exist on that date.
