Set your experiences to Standard, Selective, and Not Visible
You can view and adjust your experience visibility by navigating to the Experiences tab on your AnyRoad account.
This functionality includes:
- The ability to set your experiences to Standard, Selective, or Not Visible
- The ability to create a sharable link for private experiences
Currently, there are three visibility options available for experiences:
- Standard: standard experiences function like visible, public experiences and are visible on your website
- Selective: selective experiences do not appear on the website but can be shared with guests via a private link
- Not Visible: not visible experiences are hidden everywhere and cannot be booked by a guest
Important note: When you edit the visibility of a private experience and make it standard or not visible, the experience will no longer be bookable through the private link. When your guests visit the private link, they will see the below message:
Preview your Experiences
When it comes to previewing experiences, you can select to preview all your visible (standard & selective) experiences by using the Preview all button at the top of your screen:
You can also preview an individual experience, by clicking on the Preview option on any experience's quick action links:
Clicking Preview on a specific experience or Preview all will both direct you to a live preview version of your booking pages that can only be accessed via login to your account.
Edit an Experience
Any time you would like to edit one of your existing experiences, simply locate it on the Experiences tab and click on the Edit quick link to access its settings. Click on the following link for more details on the available Experience Settings.
Duplicate an Experience
Duplicating an experience is extremely valuable and saves time when you would like to create a new experience, but also copy over all the custom configurations of your original experience such as add-ons, checkout questions, privacy policies, and waivers.
To do so, simply click on the More quick link and select Duplicate:
This will open up a pop-up window where you can set the name of the new experience, change the location if needed, and select whether you would like to copy the photos from the original experience.
Once you have made your adjustments, click on Duplicate to create the new experience:
Please note that setting up the name of the new experience in this step is crucial as this will generate the new experience's URL which will be visible to guests.
Clicking on the Duplicate button before changing the name of the experience will result in a URL similar to "copy-of-example-experience-".
Once you have completed the steps above, you will find a new Not Visible copy of the original experience at the top of the list:
Archiving experiences is useful when the time to declutter your experience view list while still keeping a copy of each experience in your archive.
To archive an experience, click on More and select Archive:
This will immediately hide the experience from your Active view, but you will still be able to access it if you switch from showing Active to showing Archived experiences.
There is a drop-down menu at the top left-hand side of the screen that allows you to toggle between the different views:
If you want to move an Archived experience back to the Active ones, you can do so by going into the Archived experiences, clicking on More, and then on Move to Active.
